Overflow

I have recently added quite a few events that will be happening over the course of the next few months. Please check the youth calendar and ask me if you have any questions about up coming events.

There comes a time for all of us to make a decision about how we are going to treat people.  Our name, OVERFLOW, comes from the idea that we should always have a mindset of overflowing thankfulness for all that we do and is done to us and for us.  With this concept intact I would ask you what have you been thankful for lately?  Now it is easy for us to come up with those wonderfully stale answer of God, Church, and Family, but  I want to challenge you to think in more specific terms.  I want you to think of the why to God.  Why are you thankful for God?  Why are you thankful for Church?  Why are you thankful for your family?  It is when we start think like this that we can start with our mindset “overflowing with many thanksgivings to God” (2 Corinthians 9).  So today don’t just say I am thankful for X but tack on the why along with it and tell it to God,  and then you too can be part of OVERFLOW!
